Example of the in-player delay readout
The LIVE pill is an example of the in-player delay readout.
Latency
Embedded web players keep a deep buffer and fall well behind the broadcast. ONSET's native player, built on Amazon IVS, the same video technology as Twitch, keeps you close to the edge.
The broadcast is written at its newest moment. Everything behind that edge is already the past.
A web player embed builds a long buffer, so what you watch trails what is happening.
A short buffer, a smooth catch-up when it drifts, and the measured delay shown in the player.
Illustration, not a benchmark. The app measures the real delay.

Illustration, not a benchmark. The delay you get depends on the stream and your network; ONSET measures the real delay and shows it live in the player.
